Junior Cycle
This is a three year programme leading to Junior Cycle.
JCSP
The school also offers the Junior Certificate School Programme JCSP. The JCSP is not alternative to the Junior Certificate but is designed to help teachers develop an imaginative approach to the Junior Certificate and enable greater engagement by students in the learning process.
Transition Year
This is a one year programme between Junior and Senior Cycle. It is designed to act as a bridge between the two by facilitating the smooth transition from the more dependant learning of the Junior Cycle to the more independent self-directed learning required for the Senior Cycle.
Senior Cycle
This is a two year academic Leaving Certificate programme. The school offers the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP).
Leaving Certificate
All students are prepared for the Leaving Certificate examinations
Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP)
The Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) is an intervention designed to enhance the vocational dimension of the Leaving Certificate (established).
Learning Support
The school provides a range of supports for students with special educational needs. Students may avail of a reduced curriculum, learning supports classes or the assistance of a Special Needs Assistant. All incoming 1st year students are assessed in order to identify their needs and to allow the optimum use of teaching resources within the school. The Learning Support Staff maintain a close relationship with parents to discuss their child’s progress and continuing needs.
