What we do

The Parents Association promotes the role of parents and guardians, supports fundraising for the benefit of the school and fosters co-operation between teachers and the Board of Management. It also encourages members to take an active interest in the School through participation in social and other activities. All parents and guardians are members of the Association unless parents and guardians request not to participate.

The Association can be contacted by email at [email protected]

A committee oversees the Association’s activities in accordance with its Constitution and warmly welcomes engagement, ideas and new members.

Fundraising

Parents and guardians kindly provide school scholarships, facilities and equipment that are not centrally funded through their voluntary contributions and by supporting events. Recently Parents and Guardians have supported school activities with a classroom of chromebooks to aid digital learning along with a secure charging trolley, sports shirts for school teams, engineering equipment including a lathe and 3D printer, science equipment, child assessments, Gaeltacht scholarships and more.

Voluntary contributions can be paid in person at parent teacher meetings and through Compass.
